Summary:IBTS is currently recruiting for a Design Coordinator to join our growing and dynamic team in Brooklyn, NY. The Design Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and implementing the design, marketing, print and distribution elements for incoming projects and will serve as the liaison between design, production and vendor support to ensure optimal service and results.This position directly supports the Project Director.Coordinate and help manage the complete execution of complex projects while meeting appropriate image, quality and timing requirements. Assist in the execution of installations across multiple locations by managing the planning, trafficking and distribution of relevant materials while simultaneously ensuring consistency and meeting budget and deadline targets.Maintain precise and professional communication to ensure highest level of service.Attend client meetings with Project Director and speak intelligently to available technology and creative ideas to meet client objectives.Help to establish workflows and procedures to improve efficiencies.Review and modify files prior to print.Manage and analyze project budgets.Create impactful, creative and professional proposals and presentations.Work closely with Design Director, Account Managers, Production Review Design, Construction and Appraisal Work Orders to ensure reported deliverables are satisfied; generate assessment reports to facilitate case management teams to efficiently identify and correct discrepancies.Develop and transmit tracking systems to efficiently monitor submitted Design and Construction related Work order deliverables.Assist with monitoring, tracking and storage of designerA?s progress and deliverables.Assist with the composition of Design, Construction and Appraisal Work Orders.Monitor submitted individual project Design and Construction spection Reports, Permits, Construction Documents, Plans and specs to ensure accuracy and compliance to established NYC, local municipalitiesA? DOB codes.Provide professional and timely technical advice to case management staff to remedy Design and Construction related inquires.Deliver constant and accurate communication to Operations Management regarding the status of all active projects, cases and design contracts to maintain collective management information.Assist program managers to develop new solutions and innovative procedures to expedite the completion of design, construction, permitting and case closeouts.Update internal project and contract management systems with design and permit related contract data in an accurate fashion to assure updated data integrity.BS, BA, or BFA and a minimum of 1+ years professional experience in print production, graphic design or structural fabricationProficient in Adobe Creative SuiteFamiliarity of various print platforms, materials
