We have an exceptional opportunity for an IT professional who is a hard worker, has concrete skills and experience working in a modern hospital setting, and loves to get their "hands dirty" working on IT projects. The ideal applicant will develop a thorough understanding of the current state of the hospital technical infrastructure and help develop plans to move our medical center into the twenty first century. This person will help optimize networking to optimize, simply, and make it more reliable; understand the different application modalities such as GE Muse, Philipps cardiology, Nihon Coden machines and have experience maintaining and optimizing their use; develop surveillance systems of the network as well as applications; develop plans to optimize the help desk experience using few resources; and develop a good working relationship with the current excellent IT employees on the team of about 4-7 people.
