RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Brooklyn, NY that is searching for an ETL Developer/Architect.Scope of Services: Work closely under the direction of the Project Manager with stakeholders from agency Responsible for designing and maintaining ETL code using Informatica Work with Team Lead to ensure that the right solution is put in place as per design Create, maintain, and understand the technical design documents Execute development plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements Modify existing programs to confirm to system changes or to make changes to existing programs Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing changes and correctionsREQUIREMENTS: A Bachelors or Master's degree in MIS, Computer Science or equivalent experience is desired At least 7 years of overall development experience Must have 3+ years of ETL experience Must have Informatica PowerCenter development experience Must have Informatica B2B Data Transformation development experience Ability to Design, Develop and Deploy the ETL processes and performance tune ETL programs/scrips Strong knowledge of XML, XML Schema, XSD, XSD, XSLT/XPath, and BI and Data Warehousing concepts Strong experience in Oracle, PL/SQL, UNIX shell scripting Experience developing, deploying and implementing on NT and Unix environments Must be able to take strategic direction from executive management and participate in strategic planning activities throughout the lifetime of the project Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidanceDesirable Skills/Experience: Knowledge or SQL Server, DQS is desired Experience with Fuzzy Logic Algorithm Matching is desired Experience with formal SDLC's and business analysis methodologies is desired Working knowledge of business analysis documentation standardsSpecial Requirements:Fingerprinting: State laws and the agency's policy and practice mandate the taking of fingerprints as a prerequisite for licensure and/or employment; particular attention is given to fingerprint results that reveal a criminal historyKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
