Job Description Block Institute located in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, is a Not for Profit Agency located in Brooklyn, New York, is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. We are seeking a Full-Time Systems Administrator to work in our IT Department; Salary $60,000.00; Single medical and dental coverage at no cost to the employee! Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field 2-3 years IT experience Experience with Windows Server 2008/2012, Cisco and Microsoft certifications are a plus Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities : include the following. Other duties may be assigned Experience with Exchange, Windows Active directory Working knowledge of network, system security implementations and protocols Diagnose and resolve software, network and hardware issues Building, configuring, and managing Microsoft Windows servers in a multi-location enterprise environment Setup and maintain end user workstations Working knowledge of routers, firewalls, switches Previous experience with backup and disaster recovery methodologies Configure and troubleshoot network shares and printers AAE/EEO/M/F/D/V Company Description Block Institute is committed to providing the highest quality education and care to individuals in its programs.
