The Network Engineer is a versatile technology professional with a network focus. Primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of our internal and external network infrastructure, you may also assist with OS-level systems administration, VMware administration, backup management, and system monitoring where necessary.We are looking for an industrious collaborator with a solid technology foundation. You will be part of a small, tight-knit team responsible for Huge's global systems and network infrastructure. You will have the initiative to take on new projects, meet tight deadlines and act as a trusted advisor within the IT team as well as the broader Huge community. We are a growing team within an expanding geographic footprint. Travel and after-hours work may be necessary.Responsibilities:* Install and configure various network devices.* Coordinate and implement network upgrades.* Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/WLAN/WAN network problems.* Assist with network architecture and design activities.* Create and maintain documentation related to server and network systems.* Analyze logs from various systems to identify any security or performance issues.* Create and maintain VPN connections to remote offices, customers, and vendors* Act as an advisor to the team and the business on network and infrastructure topics.Requirements/Qualifications:* 5+ years of systems/network administration/engineering experience with a thorough knowledge of networking concepts (Ethernet, TCP/IP, OSPF, QoS, VLANs, etc) .* Experience with network monitoring, management and inspection tools (Solarwinds, ManageEngine, Snort, etc).* Experience with diverse networks and network environements.* Familiarity with both Linux and Windows System administration.* Familiarity with open source firewalls such as pfSense, Vyatta, iptables, ufw.* Experience managing remote users and office locations.* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with peers, customers, vendors, and partners, across all levels of the organization.* Strong documentation skills, detail oriented* Knowledge of AWS a plus* CCNA/CCNP Certifications preferredHuge is an equal opportunity employer (EOE).
