You should be able to multi-task, communicate well and promptly with customers and team members Title : Senior Systems Analyst Hours and Location : This is a full-time help desk position. Engineer will be working out of our Brooklyn office. Compensation and Benefits : We award our employees based on merit. Tuition reimbursement for relevant technical courses will be provided. Responsibilities : Support end users and customer networks. Daily hands-on interaction with network and systems troubleshooting. Serve as an integral resource (or leader) in projects, adhering to committed deliverables, and regular communication of progress to management. Fulfill certification and training roadmap as set forth by senior staff and management. Shadow experienced personnel and acquire knowledge. Thoroughly document all activity and keep senior staff and management informed. Work outside of standard business hours as needed. Required Technical Skills : 5+ years of IT experience supporting end-user devices, servers, applications and networking protocols and a large corporate environment or managed service provider. Experience with numerous hardware and software platforms including but not limited to Windows, macOS, VMware, SonicWALL, Meraki, Unifi, Cisco, Linux/Unix are preferred Ability to Manage and Troubleshoot: Windows 7/8/10, Windows Server 08/12/16, macOS, Microsoft Office 365, G-Suite (Google), VoIP Systems (Asterisk, Avaya, Cisco, Grandstream) Proficiency with iPhones/iPad, Chrome, Android and other mobile devices Ability to address network printer issues and solutions Technical understanding of network protocols and services including: TCP/IP, FTP, DNS, DHCP Experience with MSP tools such as Kaseya, LabTech, Autotask, and Connectwise is a plus Knowledge of a scripting/programming language is a major plus, including but not limited to PowerShell, BASH, and/or VBScript Required Soft Skills : Excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills A very strong and dedicated work ethic Uncompromising honesty Punctuality Strong communication (including phone) skills Ability to accept and maintain responsibility Ability to communicate to all levels of users and management in written and oral form An ability to take charge in given situations and offer recommendations that benefit the clients and company A professional appearance, including proper dress and personal appearance How to apply : Carefully read these instructions, and apply according to the guidance provided.
