Job DescriptionThe focus of this role is working within the UTC IT Security Operations & Engineering team to add to our strong Cyber Security resiliency capabilities. The individual will be responsible for the implementation and validation of technical and process controls across UTCA cents € (TM) s businesses globally. This will involve working with many technologies across our endpoint, network and privileged management solutions. We also support investigations and Incident Response for IT activities as needed.Some Tasks include:Provide security architecture and advice in support of application development, infrastructure, and enterprise technology projects to ensure the integrity of the corporations information systems.Identify architectural and other security risks associated with the solution, and compensating controls where necessary.Manage security product deployments and evaluations to Corporate and Business Unit Cloud environmentsDevelopment and implementation of data security architecture framework (roadmaps, product life-cycle, reference architecture)Working with project teams to ensure secure implementations aligned to business requirementsEvaluates and assess risk as part of the life-cycle analysisDocument and maintain controls, narratives and test scriptsWork with Corporate and BU incident response teams to improve cyber defense capabilityDefine key metrics to demonstrate program success Problem solving and analytical abilities including the ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and apply sound business knowledgeStrong understanding of security architecture best practices, standards and frameworksProven ability to lead and influence large distributed product development effortsUnderstanding of programming and development practices Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsCommunicate effectively across multiple organizations to ensure that the teams are completely aligned to the objectivesConsulting, negotiation and relationship skillsAbility to multi-task and work independently, as well as work collaboratively with teams, some of which may be geographically distributedInitiative and ability to quickly acquire knowledgeUnderstanding of basic project management principlesBachelorA cents € (TM) s Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or related business discipline(s). MasterA cents € (TM) s Degree preferred or not required
