Director of Clinical Services
+ Work in partnership with Division Director to identify
areas of needed training related to clinical intervention and behavioral
+ Supervise Behavior Intervention Specialists/ BCBA s
working in the programs.
+ Develop curricula, schedule, and facilitate appropriate
trainings for clinical, management, administrative and support staff.
+ Coordinate all clinical services for the program to
support individuals needs including, but not limited to nutrition, speech therapy,
occupational therapy, physical therapy and psychotherapy.
+ Work with Residence Supervisors and Administrative
Supervisors to conduct and consult post-crisis deconstruction meetings and
briefing meetings in an effort to assist staff in honing their clinical,
case management, and behavioral management skills.
+ Perform duties related to Human Rights Committee
requirements, including chairing the Human Rights Committee meeting and
ensuring that all documentation is in order and meets regulatory
+ Identify and address critical behavior needs of the
individuals and act as the liaison with the team to provide supports and training.
+ Administer evaluations for Community Status, Home Alone
Status and Capacity for Sexual Consent Status annually, or as needed for
all individuals.
+ Other duties as assigned
+ LMSW/ LCSW/ LMHC/ Licensed Psychologist required
+ Minimum
of 2 years of general clinical experience in a management or supervisory
capacity required. Experience with ABA plus 5-7 years of experience working
with adults with Intellectual Disabilities and Spectrum Disorders in a
residential setting strongly preferred.
+ Demonstrated clinical and diagnostic competence as well
as leadership capacity.
+ Must
demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills including the
ability to disseminate complex information.
+ Must have the ability to establish and maintain
positive relationships, de-escalate charged situations, and conduct
effective negotiations to achieve program goals and objectives.
+ Strong organizational and administrative skills. Excellent
computer literacy and data entry skills including intermediate to
expert-level proficiency with MS Office Suite. Experience with Virtual
Health software preferred.
+ Prior training experience strongly preferred. Must
demonstrate the ability to conduct both individual and group training
+ Must have
the ability to supervise, train and evaluate the performance of staff.
+ Excellent interpersonal skillsincludingthe ability to relate
effectively to individuals of diverse backgrounds and lifestyles.
+ Work requires evening, weekend, holiday and emergency
on-call duty. Must carry and
respond to an Agency cellphone 24/7.
