Our Director, Operations will:Act as point person for the core operational processes that make the business run - support budgeting, financial tracking, inventory management, fulfillment processes, margin analysis, and moreEstablish close partnership with managers and P&L owners - helping key leaders translate data about company performance into decisive actionServe as thought partner to COO - identifying where we can further a€œsharpen our sawa€ , planning and executing new approaches to do so To do all of that well, the Director, Operations probably has demonstrated:Ability to turn data into insight - youa€ (TM) re conversant in financial reports, and quick to translate reams of information into high-level insightRigor, logic, and structure - you tear through cloudy, amorphous business problems - identifying the decision that needs to be made, and the data needed to make itFinesse at getting things done in complex organizations You know how to design business processes that stick: convening, building consensus - all while creating a sense of momentum and follow-through You are sensitive to how business process shapes organizational culture, and take action with that in mind Education interest - Youa€ (TM) ve had exposure to the education space - maybe you were a teacher, or ran a school, or built a non-profit, consulted to a school district, or invested in an education companya€‹In order to be considered, you will have:Bachelora€ (TM) s Degree in Business Administration or related field (MBA preferred)Three or more years experience in a similar roleExperience in educationExperience developing budgets and writing business plans Work at Amplify is fast-moving, demanding and - we believe - deeply meaningful.
