Have you been in the cable industry for over 5 years? Do you have a passion for creating in:depth training programs, staying up:to:date on the newest cable installation processes and tracking new trainees through the first three months of their progress? If you are enthusiastic about education and progress, then this is the role for you
TriWire Engineering Solutions, Inc. is currently looking for a Trainer who will perform frequent new hire orientations and technical trainings for all new technicians in the area. This professional will report directly to the area Operations Manager. Travel is required for this position including locations outside of the local markets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
:High school graduate or equivalent.
:Valid Drivers License
:Ability to carry, climb and maneuver an 80:pound, 28 ft. extension ladder
:Strong computer skills and ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
:Convey a positive and professional image
:Occasional need for clerical duties such as answering telephones, filing, and data input
:Must possess tact; have above average communications skills to work effectively with customers, internal employees and field technicians.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
:Completion of new hire paperwork insuring 100 compliance to all federal, state, and company policies.
:Conduct classroom training of all new hires including but not limited to, HR policies and procedures, safety and technical orientation.
:Assure that the field training of all new technicians is conducted using the training manual, the field scorecard and the field training checklist. Administer exams and quizzes on trainees.
:Follow up with new hires to ensure they receive all tools, and safety equipment before entering the field. Make sure there is a proper transition of new technicians from the field trainer to their new supervisor.
:Work closely with the QC technicians to monitor the effectiveness of the training by measuring the quality of work performed by new technicians.
:Collaborate with the local Operation Managers to conduct safety training and tailgate talks.

:Perform other duties as requested by Operations Manager.
