Arts East New York Internship program provides meaningful opportunities for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in the arts and culture sector, from the perspective of a leading non-profit organization in New York City. Interns learn about and participate in the planning, execution, and reporting processes related to AENY artist empowerment programs and public engagement initiatives.
Internship Focuses: Listed below are the 4 different internship focuses available to choose from, you can apply to all four focuses on your application. Based on your internship focus, AENY will help build your knowledge, apply your skills, and deepen your interests in the Arts. Our open office plan and frequent collaboration across departments, also makes this the perfect environment to work in.


Interns are expected to work 24 hours per week, including supporting evening and weekend events. A travel stipend of $121 per month will be provided for the duration of the internship.
