As the senior leader of the Human Resources team, the Head of HR is responsible for building, implementing and delivering all Human Resource operations, including processes and services that create, support, and sustain a high performance, innovative, and entrepreneurial culture. This position also leads, consults, and influences management and all team members.

Main Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

* Build a strong partnership with our team through proactive delivery of HR services.

* Foster a great work environment that allows team members to do their best work by upholding and promoting our Guiding Principles.

* Provide guidance to managers and team members on coaching, mentoring, training and development, rewards and recognition, and performance management.

* Manage complex and difficult HR processes cross-functionally.

* Oversee planning and carryout of high-volume seasonal recruiting.

* Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team members, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

* Develop and implement Performance Management process throughout the organization

* Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development.)

* Collaborate with HR team to proactively improve work processes.

* Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.

* Manage and resolve complex team member (employee) relations issues.

* Identify training opportunities for various business units.

* Develop and deliver training programs that support the growth of the organization.

* Provide mentorship, guidance, and development opportunities to an evolving Human Resources team.

Required Education and Experience:

* 5 to 7 years HR experience including at least 2 years managing a team

* Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources, or equivalent

* Experience with HR Systems; ADP WorkforceNow, Greenhouse ATS preferred

* HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred
