PAVE supports the establishment and operation of: PAVE Red Hook, a Pre:Kindergarten : 8th grade public charter school in Red Hook, Brooklyn. In 2017 : 2018, PAVE Red Hook will educate 480 Pre:Kindergarten : 8th grade scholars.PAVE Southeast, a Kindergarten : 8th grade public charter school in Raleigh, NC. In PAVE Southeast will educate 320 Kindergarten : 3rd grade scholars.Future schools founded on the core values of Perseverance, Achievement, Vibrance, and Excellent character.PAVE Red Hook seeks an Office Manager to oversee the day:to:day operations of the schoolA?s main office and assist the operations team in a support capacity. Because this individual functions as the primary contact person for many of the schoolA?s constituents, his or her ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, families, trustees, donors, and visitors is imperative. As part of a fast:paced organization, the candidate must be a team player who is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. The Office Manager will report directly to the Director Operations and should expect to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m.A?4:30 p.m., and occasionally during additional times as requested.CLEAR AND CONSISTENT HIGH EXPECTATIONS IN A STRUCTURED ENVIRONMENT: PAVE team members believe firmly that all children can achieve at high levels, both academically and behaviorally, in a positive and structured school environment. We believe that ELA and math are at the core of everything we do.A: Manage operations of the schoolA?s main officeA: Maintain a neat, organized, clean, professional, and welcoming main office environmentA: Serve as the primary point of contact for all visitorsA: Manage phones (answer, receive, and place phone calls, take messages, etc.)A: Manage mail (stamp, sign, and distribute received mail, prepare and send outgoing mail, etc.)A: Manage the copy machines (make copies, receive, distribute, and send faxes, fix paper jams, request service for the machine as needed, etc.) A: Manage the collection and maintenance of student, personnel, and school information (receive forms and paperwork, take and track attendance, track missing forms, manage databases, update contact information, keep records current, enter information into ATS and other student information systems, etc.)A: Help plan and manage logistics and preparations for school events, field trips, and activities as needed (make photocopies, set up for special events, make phone calls, confirm attendance, etc.)A: Manage school and studentsA? transportation needs and communicate with families regarding bus requirements and problems
