We are currently seeking to hire a Sales Manager to join our team You will be responsible for overseeing and developing a sales to drive company revenue for our New Re:Branding of our Hotel. An excellent opportunity for a Current Sales Coordinator or Sales Manager looking to take the next step in their career
:Oversee and coordinate the sales activities
:Establish sales territories, quotas, and goals for Sales
:Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement
:Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting
:Report on individual performance
:Develop and execute innovative sales strategies
:Build and form new partnerships with potential clients
:Provide quality service to our customers with quick and timely responses.
:Develop professional long term business relationships.
:Possess excellent time and self:management skills, be self:motivated and be organizationally savvy with a keen focus on detail.
:Must be able to generate a continuous stream of customer contacts on location or by telephone and internet.
:Must possess a clear understanding of the hotels business strategies and then set goals and develop an action plan to succeed.
:Develop new accounts from competition and new demand generators and increase business by lateral development of existing accounts.
:Solicit new and existing accounts by cold:calling, appointments, telemarketing, site tours, be constantly prospecting and networking.
:Development of company/segment focused recognition i.e. Company of the Month or Industry Appreciation programs and events.
:Must be able to coordinate and participate in sales blitzes.
:Prepare weekly sales and productivity reports communicating customer
contacts/opportunities to upper management.
:Own and follow up on all details of customer events from booking to follow up
:Work closely with Director of Sales and Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotels.
:Develop strong relationships with on property sales and food and beverage staff and ensure working together to achieve the same goals.
:Ensure proper follow up and communicate customer needs and profiles for seamless hand off.
:Attend, participate and contribute to all Sales Strategy and Sales Team meetings.
:A two or four year degree in Hospitality Management is preferred.
:A minimum of 1:3 years of Hospitality Sales experience is required.
:Passionate people who enjoy the thrill of the hunt, no afraid of rejection and thrive in a results:oriented environment are encouraged .
:Skilled at developing and executing targeted sales accounts.
:Must possess strong selling and team Leadership Skills.
:Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
:Experience working with the tools of the trade, including lead
generation/internet sourcing tools.
:Must be very PC and internet savvy.
:Must have outstanding presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
:Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
:Some Travel may be required.
:Experience in developing Marketing initiatives and knowledge of the importance of social media and OTA reservation channels.
:Candidate should be highly organized and able to execute all initiatives quickly and accurately with deadlines.
:Strong communication and motivational skills with an ability to work in a team environment.
:A proven track record in developing long term business relationships.
:Must have a good understanding of yield practices and strategies.
:Participate in all applicable industry trade shows, community networking events and organized sales blitzes.
