As the largest plaintiffs law firm in the country with over 100,000 client sign ups in 2017, Morgan & Morgan is poised for another year of explosive growth in 2018. We're leveraging technology in novel new ways to help more wronged people than ever seek justice, communicate with the Firm, and ultimately receive compensation. That's where you come in.
The Morgan & Morgan NY Engineering Team is seeking a strong devops engineer to aid in the development of instance provisioning automation, service monitoring, application logging, and cloud network configuration.
At the end of 2016, we formed the Morgan & Morgan NY Engineering Team. It s a small agile team of very talented, passionate and professional people, with a strong sense of ownership. We began the initiative to rethink when and how to apply technology. Starting with the switchover from Wordpress to statically compiled sites, we moved much of our infrastructure to the cloud (AWS), switched from Ansible to a Salt powered provisioning and deployment system, and began a rollout of detailed application level logging (powered by an ELK stack). However, now we re hitting our first growing pains.
As the primary owner of infrastructure operations for a large company, you ll be developing tools to automate common tasks, implementing monitoring and failover solutions, expanding and curating our Salt States, tightening and cleaning EC2 configurations, and formulating and implementing your own blue-sky projects. We re looking for a creative thinker who dares to challenge the status quo. If that sounds like you, we d love to chat.
