We invite you to join our team as a Customer Service Representative II for Environmental Sciences. This position requires an assertive, customer:oriented individual with 3+ years sales and/or face:to:face customer service experience; superior communication and phone skills; and strong computer skills. Experience in the pest control industry a plus
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for all customer service activities including: handling orders from end to end, providing a single point of contact to ensure a consistent customer experience, coordinating order fulfillment, and problem resolution. The Customer Service Representative will also assist in building profitable sales by enhancing customer satisfaction and confidence.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enters live orders online in real time
- Verifies order, pricing and delivery expectations
- Coordinates fulfillment and transportation of order
- Communicates order status directly to customer
- Tracks and confirms delivery and initiates invoicing
- Recognizes and responds to new / additional client opportunities
- Exceeds customer expectations by delivering exceptional customer service
- Builds and sustains long term partnership with client
- Responsive to client needs and escalates when appropriate
- Maintains up:to:date detailed information on customers account
- Proactively reaches out to account contacts to ensure client has appropriate stock
- Develops solutions to customer needs / opportunities
- Knows industry needs and trends
- Builds rapport with internal customers including: sales, operations, and supply chain
- Completes all paperwork, reports and administrative tasks in a timely, complete and accurate manner
- 3:5years of customer service experience
- Local to the area
- High school diploma AND
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and demonstrated performance of appropriate entry level skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Professional communication skills
Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
- Pest control industry experience
- Professional sales and wholesale distribution expereince

- Follows through with commitments, instilling confidence in Univar's capabilities
- Ability to produce thorough documentation
- Practice active listening skills
- Ability to manage time sensitive, high stress scenarios
- Strong problem solving skills :considers full range of options to find solutions and makes decisions to resolve the situation
- Ability to handle multiple orders in progress at the same time
- Ability to learn customer's product base and customer requirements
