Your challenge and opportunityTo accomplish our objective we are seeking to expand our sales presence working directly with hospitals by expanding our team of experienced Hospital oriented Customer Solutions Managers. This is a truly exciting opportunity to join a market maker, proud of its focus on the patient and the Healthcare Professional where results lead to advancement and real rewards. Are you up for the challenge? In the first 30 days you will be expected to become familiar with The Medicines Company and our products including drug pipeline as well as your target clients within about 8 hospitals in your portfolio. In the first 30 days you will become familiar with the 4D consultative sales process;- Discover, Diagnose, Design, Deliver and utilize the process in your sales approach. In the first 90 days you will develop a detailed account knowledge base for each hospital with actionable activities designed to generate revenue in line with targets and expectations. In the first 90 days you will deliver an assessment of the competitive landscape and assess hurdles to success as well as identifying the unmet needs within the hospital and the procurement process. You will rapidly develop your approach to communicating a relevant customer value proposition and establishing clear performance measures for each hospital. You will continually collaborate with the key stakeholders internally to provide the right information to the right clients at exactly the right time. You will continually build relationships within the hospital and healthcare professional marketplace leading to new business.Are you ready to; Drive superior results within your assigned territory leading to meeting and exceeding targets on a continual basis? Be recognized and rewarded for being not just a great Customer Solutions Manager, but a great collaborative member of the client team? Provide valuable market intelligence and insight to inform and improve the overall sales process? Perform all Account Management responsibilities such as tracking performance, identifying obstacles, developing solutions and building lasting relationships with key stakeholders? Your background will look like this; A proven track record of sales success selling to stakeholders within a hospital environment. Preferred experience in Acute Care or Infectious Disease. Demonstrated success in selling across multiple complex pathways and solutions. Citable C-Suite and KOL relationships within target hospitals Demonstrated success in planning and executing a new product or solution launch into a hospital setting. Track record of true innovation in sales within competitive drug marketplace, including demonstrated knowledge of new and emerging sales techniques including utilization of mixed and digital media.Education: Bachelor s degree in a scientific field or business management required. Master s degree (MS or MBA) preferred.
