As a Junior Web Analyst, you will support the Web Analytics and Digital Marketing teams needs for reporting and analysis. This role requires advanced application of Microsoft Excel and Adobe Analytics tools to produce detailed reporting and analysis that is well summarized and can be updated easily over time. The role will own all weekly reporting needs and field a la carte requests from stakeholders throughout the organization.
The ideal candidate will produce actionable analysis and recommendations can be easily shared with brand leads and executives. The environment is fast paced and executive expectations are high. This role reports to the Director of Ecommerce, Site Optimization.
Essential Functions:
* Produce weekly site performance reports: KPI dashboards, Home Page reporting, Website Merchandising Analysis, Onsite Search Reporting, as well as other reports. All reporting should include business context and insights into the data to be delivered to the business leads.
* Effectively respond to ad:hoc reporting requests from brand leads, merchants, other Marketing teams.
* Proactively develop reports and analysis of site performance including page performance, visitor pathing, shopping cart funnel analysis, performance on onsite tool and features, etc. Include observations and business context to deliver actionable insights to business leads, not just data.
* Assist Digital Marketing leads with analysis across multiple Marketing programs such as email, paid search, natural search, banner ads, affiliates, leveraging data from multiple sources: vendor reporting tools, WSIs web analytics tool, and WSIs legacy systems.
* Create custom queries using SQL and analytics tools to pull data from our Customer Data Warehouse (CDW) to develop advanced analytics reporting and answer deeper business questions.
* Spearhead efforts with Dir. of Ecommerce and other department leads to improve and automate legacy reporting.
* Work with IT and site managers to review and test analytics tool tagging for site changes, new site features, and initiatives to ensure data quality.
* Actively partner and develop effective relationships with related groups in eCommerce management, eMarketing, and IT to facilitate and manage efforts across teams to turn insights into practice on the site.
* 4:year Degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related areas of study
* 2+ years experience working in web analytics or related areas
* 1+ years experience using web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics/Omniture, Google Analytics, or similar
* Proficient in web analytics fundamentals and website measurement strategy
* Strong to Expert Excel skills
* Ability to construct custom queries using web analytics tools
* Good knowledge eMarketing activities such as SEM/SEO, remarketing/retention, targeted display, affiliates, etc.
* Good business acumen with Retail industry knowledge a plus
* Good verbal and written communication skills; able to effectively
