This role is responsible for supporting the brands social media strategy and requires digital:agility and enthusiasm for driving traffic and brand awareness across multiple channels and communities. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a relevant industry. This candidate is an excellent communicator with strong writing skills, enthusiasm for the visual web, and knowledge of a multitude of social media platforms and utilities. The candidate should have experience with managing online communities and a skill set that includes experience with customer service, marketing, and online publishing. Candidate must be a flexible and creative self:starter who is able to work within an entrepreneurial environment and support multiple projects at once.
Essential Functions:
* Distribute digital content on brands social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube. Editorial skills such as photo selection, cropping and caption generation will be employed
* Maintain and update brand presence on various social media channels
* Measure and report growth and engagement of social media initiatives
* Engage and respond to community questions and feedback
* Coordinate various project shipments and act as point:of:contact throughout project
* Monitor and maintain a record of project and team budgets
* Social media and marketing experience
* Excellent web and caption writing skills
* Enthusiasm for the visual web along with basic graphic design skills
* Self:starter who contributes to solve problems
* Ability to recognize and initiate work with minimal direction
* Strong attention to detail with time management skills
* Exceptional initiative and follow:through
* Superior interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; ability to thrive in a cross:functional, team:based environment is critical
* Experience with and a passion for social media platforms including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram and more
* Experience with various software suites and online tools including: Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite
* Experience with a content management system (CMS) and content publishing that could include WordPress, Social Chorus, Sprinklr, Opal is a plus
* Retail and/or customer service experience a plus
* Interest in home furnishings, design and art a plus
